Carolina & Gino's Wedding in Whittier

Carolina and Gino recently asked me to photograph their wedding this coming summer. After going over the details, I gratefully accepted.
However, due to unexpected events, they decided to move up the wedding date so that Carolina's sister could be present. Her sister, who resides in Germany, was vacationing here and would be unable to attend in the summer as she is expecting her first child.
Don't ask me how they did it in such a short amount of time, but they were able to create a beautiful intimate ceremony and reception at a scenic hillside location. It was a lovely wedding and I was glad to have been a part of it. Here are some pictures from that evening. (click on image to enlarge)

The Morley Family Portraits

Last month I went out with the Morley family and did a family portrait shoot down in San Juan Capistrano. This is one of my favorite places to shoot in Orange County. The family was great to work with and we had a blast capturing some fun images. Here are some of my favorites.

BMW 335 in Downtown Los Angeles

You will be seeing a variety of subject matter in front of my camera. I photograph architecture, landscapes, weddings, portraits, product, and social events. Another subject you will often find me photographing is automobiles.

I recently met up with Gino Lomeli to shoot his BMW 335 coupe. He had been doing some subtle modifications to it and was anxious to record his progress. We headed out to Downtown LA to find some interesting locations for the shoot. Los Angeles didn’t let us down. Here are some of his favorites from that day.

Jake in Downtown Santa Ana

I decided to try Downtown Santa Ana for Jake's portrait session. It turned out to have some cool spots for this shoot. Jake was a great sport and needed little direction. He's a natural. He was more comfortable with the serious look, so I ran with it. Here are some of my favorites.

Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art

Working for an Architecture firm has it's perks. Our office set up a Friday morning field trip recently that included brunch in LA, followed by a visit to the new Renzo Piano addition to the LACMA complex, The Broad Contemporary Art Museum. Here are some photos from that day.
